CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY
The King Farm On-Site Management Office
will be closed TODAY, Friday, July 3, 2026
for the Independence Day Holiday.
The Office will reopen on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 8:30 AM.

KING FARM 4TH Of JULY PARADE & CARNIVAL SATURDAY
Start digging out your red, white, and blue,
and join your friends and neighbors for the
annual community parade and carnival
in celebration of Independence Day
TOMORROW, Saturday July 4, 2026,
12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Decorate those strollers, and bicycles and head to the corner
of Watkins Pond Boulevard at King Farm Park at 11:45 a.m.
for the annual parade to the Saddle Ridge Community Center.
The parade will start at approximately 12:00 p.m.
Once the parade arrives at the
Saddle Ridge Community Center (300 Saddle Ridge Circle)
a carnival will be set up and waiting for the children
on the lawn and in the rear parking lot of the
Saddle Ridge Community Center following the parade until 2:00 p.m.
The carnival will include giant inflatables, painted tattoos, and fun!
The King Farm Screamin’ Geese Swim Team
will be selling concessions during the carnival on the lawn,
so be sure to buy some food and show your support!!
Let’s get ready to have another great 4th of July celebration.
EXTREME HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT THRU FRIDAY EVENING
EXTREME HEAT WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY
EVENING.
* WHAT…For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 106
expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions
with heat index values up to 112 possible.
* WHERE…DC and portions of central, north central, northeast,
northern, and southern Maryland, and central, northern, and
northwest Virginia.
* WHEN… Extreme Heat Watch, from Thursday morning through Friday evening.
* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location.
Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.
CITY OF ROCKVILLE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The City of Rockville’s Independence Day Celebration
is scheduled for
Saturday, July 4, 2026 (no rain date)
starting at 7 p.m.
at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park, 1800 Piccard Drive.
Please review the map on the back of the attached letter to familiarize yourself with road closures and designated
access points for the community.
Please note:
• Parking restrictions may be in effect on neighborhood streets. Please follow all posted signs.
• After the event, neighborhood entrances may close briefly to allow for exiting attendee traffic, and
access to homes may be temporarily restricted. We appreciate your patience.

METRO RED LINE CLOSURES
Metro Red Line trains will not operate between the North Bethesda and Friendship Heights stations between July 6 and September 6. During that period, free shuttle buses will operate between the stations along 7.5 miles of bus-only lanes along Rockville Pike/MD 355.They will make stops at the North Bethesda, Grosvenor-Strathmore, Medical Center, Bethesda, and Friendship Heights stations.
During that period, drivers may not use the bus-only lanes from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. No parking will be allowed at any time in the bus lanes
ANNUAL PROPERTY LOT INSPECTIONS
2026 COMMUNITY INSPECTIONS ARE UNDERWAY
Periodic exterior inspections of the homes/lots in King Farm are important for ensuring all property owners are adhering to the maintenance standards listed in the governing documents. These standards contribute to enhancing curb appeal and property values.
If maintenance items are identified, a notice will be sent via USPS mail and by email, if on file with the management office. The initial notice will provide a compliance date to bring the noted items into compliance. An email will also be sent to homeowners from the management office. If the items are not brought into compliance, then a Final Notice/ Intent to Hold Hearing will be sent via USPS mail, email and posted to the property address door.
