Ash Trees & Emerald Ash Borer There have been concerns raised about the recent (diseased) trees removed in the community. King Farm is responsible for common area trees and curb trees on private streets maintained by the Assembly. Homeowners are responsible for trees within their lot/property boundary, which can extend past the rear fence in the alley. Trees are an integral part of the King Farm community and the environment. They provide a habitat for many creatures, purify the air by absorbing carbon monoxide, act as natural coolants (provide shade), and enhances the general aesthetic of the community. City of Rockville July 4th Celebration – Road Closures

The City of Rockville’s Independence Day Celebration is scheduled for Monday, July 4th, 2022 (no rain date) starting at 7:00 pm at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park, 1800 Piccard Drive. Due to the celebration, there will be road closures throughout the King Farm area. Park Access: There is limited access to parts of the park Friday, July 1st – Tuesday, July 5th. King Farm Parade & Carnival to Celebrate Independence Day

Start digging out your red, white and blue, and join your friends and neighbors for the annual community parade and carnival in celebration of Independence Day on Monday, July 4th, 2022.  Decorate those strollers, and bicycles and head to the corner of Watkins Pond Boulevard at King Farm Park at 11:45 am for the annual parade to the Saddle Ridge Community Center (300 Saddle Ridge Circle). Bring your friends and family to celebrate the 4th of July this year, as the City of Rockville will host its annual Independence Day Celebration at the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park in King Farm. The event will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on Monday, July 4th, 2022 at the Park, which is located at 1800 Piccard Drive, Rockville, MD 20850.
