Due to the threat of severe thunderstorms and rain tomorrow evening through the next few days, the Cinco de Mayo Concert on the Lawn scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, May 3, 2025 has been canceled.

FEW SPACES LEFT FOR LADIES NIGHT HAPPY HOUR

Calling all King Farm ladies, we want to treat you to a fun evening in celebration of Mother’s Day!

Gaither your King Farm girlfriends and join us next Friday, May 9, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for an evening of food, drinks, pampering and fun surprises! This is a girls only event for our King Farm women ages 21 and over – sorry no boys allowed!

KING FARM FARMSTEAD PROJECT COMMUNITY FILTERING SESSION

The City of Rockville invites you to participate in a Community Filtering Session which will allow residents to review and provide feedback on preliminary concepts derived from earlier public input. This interactive session will take place on Wednesday, May 28 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Saddle Ridge Community Center, 300 Saddle Ridge Circle, Rockville, MD.

REDLAND BOULEVARD DEMONSTRATION PROJECT VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING

The Department of Public Works will be hosting a virtual public meeting on May 28, 2025, a 6:30 PM to discuss the Redland Boulevard Demonstration Project. The meeting link is available on the city’s Online Calendar (https://www.rockvillemd.gov/calendar.aspx).

The Redland Boulevard Demonstration project is a plan to temporarily repurpose the outside travel lanes in both directions of Redland Boulevard to 24-hour on-street parking and curb extensions. The project extent is from Gaither Road to MD 355. The roadway realignment will be in place for 6 weeks and it will give staff an opportunity to evaluate changes in traffic patterns, volumes, and speeds. It is also an opportunity to track whether it is easier and more comfortable for pedestrians to cross Redland Boulevard


TRASH, RECYCLING, YARD WASTE AND BULK PICK UP

Please review information on the website: https://kingfarm.org/trash/ALL COLLECTIONS IN KING FARM OCCURS ON THURSDAYS. All trash, recycling, yard waste, and bulk pick-ups in King Farm occur on Thursday.
Place items in the proper receptacles the evening before pickup (after 5:00 pm) or the morning of pickup (no later than 6:00 am).


Do NOT leave loose trash or bags out as they will attract rodents and other animals. All trash and recycling should be stored in the proper containers.


• Trash should be placed in the alley unless other stated. There are some homes with no garages that leave their trash and recycling in front of their home for pickup.

• Yard Waste should be placed at the front curb for pickup. Yard debris should be in paper bags and branches should be stacked. Please refer to the City of Rockville instructions.
• Bulk Pickups should be placed at the front curb. Bulk Pickups must be scheduled IN ADVANCE: 240-314-8568 or email recyclingrefuse@rockvillemd.gov. Do NOT place out if you have not scheduled and received confirmation of pickup from the City of
Rockville.
If you miss collection, either bring your cans back inside or take your items to the transfer station on 355.
Be courteous and respectful of the community. Trash, litter, and unsightly items should not be left out. Carts should be brought in no later than Friday or within 24 hours of pickup.


ANNUAL PROPERTY LOT INSPECTIONS

Periodic exterior inspections of the homes/lots in King Farm are important for ensuring all property owners are adhering to the maintenance standards listed in the governing documents. These standards contribute to enhancing curb appeal and property values.

HOA Inspections USA, an independent inspection company, will take photos of homes as part of the inspection process. The photographer will be identifiable by their colored safety vest. The photographer will be using cameras to take photos of homes from common/public areas.

The photographer will NOT discuss what issues may be cited for yours or anyone else’s property.

If maintenance items are identified, a notice from HOA Inspections USA will be sent via USPS mail and by email, if on file with the management office. Email notifications will only be sent for the initial notice if there is a primary email address on file and if there are violation items cited for the property.

IF YOUR PROPERTY IS CITED,

the notice below will be mailed to your address on record with the management office.

You will need to CHECK YOUR MAIL. 

The initial notice will provide a compliance date to bring the noted items into compliance. If the items are not brought into compliance, then a Final Notice/ Intent to Hold Hearing will be sent via USPS mail, email and posted to the property address door.

GARDEN VIEW SQ, GARDEN VIEW WAY, LANDIS WAY, LONGHORN CRESCENT, PASTURE SIDE PL & PASTURE SIDE WAY

FINAL NOTICES HAVE BEEN SENT FOR THE FOLLOWING STREETS: 

FALCON PARK LN, MAPLE GROVE LN, RIDGEMONT AVE, SILVER GLADE PL
