KFCA Monthly Assessment Payment Option Changes

KFCA Monthly Assessment Payment Changes

By now, you should be aware that Comsource (the financial management company) is upgrading their technology platforms. We expected the migration to be completed by October 7th, but the transition to the new platform hasn’t gone as expected. Some residents have been able to set up accounts while others have experienced difficulties logging in and setting up accounts. They continue to work on the issues, but you will likely receive an email from TownSq to setup an account. This is legitimate.
Please include townsq.io as a safe domain.

We apologize for the inconvenience but appreciate your patience and understanding while this migration takes place.

This only applies to Single Family Home and Townhouse Homeowners

New Account Number

You should have received your new account number. If you haven’t, please let us know. If you sent a payment with the old number, do not worry, the payment will be processed. However, please use the new account number for your November assessment to avoid future issues. Whether you pay via physical check or bill pay, YOU MUST USE THE new account number and PO Box Address (listed below).

New Account Portal and Website

PayLease is no longer available. The new solution is called TownSq. You will receive login information and access to TownSq email from noreply@townsq.io this week. Once  you have logged in, you will be able to pay online using this platform.

Direct Debit Users

If you are currently signed up for direct debit through Comsource, you do not need to do anything. Your payment will be deducted as usual between the 5th and the 10th of the month. If you want to sign up for direct debit, please email management@ kingfarm.org for the form and additional information.

Mailing Physical Checks

If you mail a physical check, please note the change in the PO Box address:

New PO Box Address

King Farm Citizens Assembly

c/o Comsource

PO Box 2100

Charlotte, NC 28219-2100

Payments through individual banks

Update the account information and PO Box Address in your bank’s bill pay system to avoid disruptions or delays.

If you have additional questions, please email management@kingfarm.org or call 301-987-0122.

Seasonal Leaf Collection

As the vibrant colors of autumn surround us, it’s time to prepare for the seasonal change and ensure King Farm remains beautiful and tidy. We have some important updates regarding leaf collection in our neighborhood.

 Leaf Vacuuming Schedule

The City of Rockville will be conducting leaf vacuuming along neighborhood curbs on the following dates:

October 21-25

November 25-29

In addition to the city’s vacuuming service, Level Green will also be collecting leaves on alternate weeks once each month. Keep an eye out for further updates regarding specific dates for our landscaping crew’s collections.

Happy Fall!

KFCA Yard Signage Guidelines

With election season coming to end in November, remember the City of Rockville and KFCA’s policy regarding political signage and yard signs. Please note the following:

  1. Permission Required: No signage is allowed in common areas without KFCA Management approval.
  2. Sign Limitations: Each household is allowed a maximum of three signs in the front yard.
  3. Size Guidelines: Political signs are allowed based on the applicable State of Maryland or City of Rockville requirements (as of 2020 limited to 5 square feet per sign).
  4. Flags and Flagpoles. Decorative flags and flagpoles staffs which do not exceed five feet (5’) in length and are attached to a wall or pillar of the Living Unit are permitted at front, side and rear yard locations and are a routine change not requiring application and approval so long as the flag and flagpole conform to the design standard. Flags should not exceed 25 square feet per face. Permanent, free-standing flagpoles are not permitted on Lots.
  5. Post-Election Removal: After the election concludes, all political signage must be removed from the property within seven days after the election.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community beautiful and organized. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out to management at 301-987-0122 or management@kingfarm.org

Services

The KFNV continues to support King Farm residents with its community services: transportation to appointments, simple household tasks, friendly phone calls/texts, and friendly visits. Please feel free to avail yourself of all of the community services that the KFNV offers. If you are in doubt about whether a task could be performed by one of the KFNV volunteers, go ahead and fill out the service form on the KFNV website. Our Operations Team will get back to you to determine if the task is under our umbrella of tasks. Also, please note that services are open to KFNV members only; however, membership is free and an easy process. See below on how to contact the KFNV to schedule any of the services or with any questions that you may have about the services as well as how to become a KFNV member.

Volunteers

The KFNV is always looking for “neighbors helping neighbors” to provide community services to its members like drives to appointments, friendly visits and telephone calls, and help with simple household tasks. Volunteers are an important part of the KFNV.

Please feel free to contact the Operations Coordinator for any questions you may have  about becoming a KFNV volunteer  by calling (301) 799-8104,  emailing to kfnvinfo@gmail.com , or viewing  the KFNV website at www.kfnv.org for information as well as an on-line form to fill out to become a KFNV volunteer. The KFNV thanks you for your consideration in becoming a KFNV volunteer.

Contacting the KFNV

For most of the KFNV monthly events as well as the services, membership is required; but membership is as easy as filling out an on-line or mail-in form with residency in the King Farm community being the only membership requirement.  We are a multi-generational Village; therefore, there is no age requirement to join the KFNV. The KFNV welcomes all King Farm residents of all ages.

Although there is no fee to become a KFNV member, the KFNV does, however, accept and welcome donations; for these donations help defray the cost of KFNV services and events.

For information on how to register for any of the above events, to request a service or a ride, to become a KFNV member or a volunteer, or to make a donation, please contact the Operations Coordinator by calling (301) 799-8104 to  leave a voicemail,  emailing the KFNV at kfnvinfo@gmail.com , or viewing the KFNV website at  www.kfnv.org.

RockView Program

If you have a ring camera (or other front door/doorbell camera), you can register it with the RCPD. The RockView program allows residents and business owners to voluntary register their privately owned video security camera systems with the RCPD. Registration in the RockView program does not enable law enforcement to view camera footage without an owner’s permission. However, the RockView program will allow city police to quickly identify security cameras that may have captured criminal activity when a crime is reported nearby. If you have a crime or concern to report, please contact the Rockville City Police Department at:
