2025 ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION RESULTS
The King Farm Citizens Assembly held its Annual Meeting of the Membership and Election virtually on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025.
KFCA President, Paul Scott, presented the state of King Farm report; KFCA Treasurer, Ric Ricciardi, provided a brief budget and financial overview presentation. The 2025 State of King Farm report and the 2025 Treasurer’s Report will be published in the May Chronicle and posted in the “Annual Meeting & Election” folder in the resident portal.

VOLUNTEER TO HELP CLEAN UP OUR STREAM TOMORROW
Come on out!
Our area will be honoring the Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup tomorrow, Saturday, April 26, 2025. A group of volunteers working with the City of Rockville and King Farm Board of Trustees will be removing litter along the King Farm Stream Valley Park, known as Watts Branch I.
WHEN: Saturday, April 26, 9 AM to 12 PM
RAIN DATE SUNDAY 4/27 SAME TIME, SAME PLACE
WHERE: Meet at the Gazebo on Watkins Overlook at the bottom of Crooked Creek Drive (marked on map below) This activity is approved for MCPS Student Service Learning Hours and there will be forms at the check-in desk when you arrive. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult and under 18 must arrive with parental permission.
KING FARM SHRED IT DAY RETURNS TOMORROW
The King Farm Citizens Assembly is hosting the annual drive through free Shred It event tomorrow, Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. behind the Saddle Ridge Community Center parking lot on Thompson Dairy Way. This will be the only Shred-It event held this year.
Drive through and let King Farm staff remove your bags/boxes from your vehicle. There is no limit to the number of bags or boxes you can bring to shred. Please remove all binder clips and plastic materials from your shredding items. Please refrain from bringing bags of common household trash. The Shred-It event is for PAPER items only.
To make the car lines move more quickly, residents are encouraged to stay in their cars, place their shred items in trash bags so that it may be easier thrown into the shredder. If you bring your items in recycled bags or boxes which you would like returned, there may be a wait time. For more information e-mail activities@kingfarm.org.
CINCO DE MAYO CONCERT ON THE LAWN NEXT SATURDAY

Come join your neighbors for a little early Cinco de Mayo fun
with our first ever performance of the Summer Concert Series
featuring Patrick Alban and the Buena Vista Social
next Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Patrick’s music features a variety of Latin flare
and we are so excited to welcome him to King Farm.

Calling all King Farm ladies, we want to treat you to a fun evening in celebration of Mother’s Day!
Gaither your King Farm girlfriends and join us on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for an evening of food, drinks, pampering and fun surprises! This is a girls only event for our King Farm women ages 21 and over – sorry no boys allowed!

DUNKIN’ DONUTS CLOSING NEXT FRIDAY
Please be informed that the Dunkin’ Donuts located inside the Shell station at 700 Gaither Road will be closing next Friday. Following the closure, renovations will begin to transform the store into a
7-Eleven.
The gas station will remain open throughout the renovation process, which is expected to take up to two months.
ANNUAL PROPERTY LOT INSPECTIONS
Periodic exterior inspections of the homes/lots in King Farm are important for ensuring all property owners are adhering to the maintenance standards listed in the governing documents. These standards contribute to enhancing curb appeal and property values.
HOA Inspections USA, an independent inspection company, will take photos of homes as part of the inspection process. The photographer will be identifiable by their colored safety vest. The photographer will be using cameras to take photos of homes from common/public areas.
The photographer will NOT discuss what issues may be cited for yours or anyone else’s property.
If maintenance items are identified, a notice from HOA Inspections USA will be sent via USPS mail and by email, if on file with the management office. Email notifications will only be sent for the initial notice if there is a primary email address on file and if there are violation items cited for the property.

The initial notice will provide a compliance date to bring the noted items into compliance. If the items are not brought into compliance, then a Final Notice/ Intent to Hold Hearing will be sent via USPS mail, email and posted to the property address door.
