Mayor & Council Public Hearing Notice: Proposed Education Commission

The Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing on establishing an Advisory Commission on Public Education. The Mayor and Council is seeking input on the function and objectives of the proposed commission.

The commission is expected to serve as a liaison between the Rockville community and the Mayor and Council on matters of education, and facilitate community involvement in community education, as well as taking an active role with the Montgomery County Board of Education, working to improve communication with the Board of Education, and representing Rockville’s interests.
